Adam Withington is innovating the future in User experience

Hello, I am Adam Withington

I am a UI & UX Designer from the Liverpool city region

I have worked with a number of industries such as Space, Healthcare, Computing, Government, Education, Research and many more.

I graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University in July 2019 with a 2:1 in multimedia computing. In August 2019 I joined STFC (Science Technology Facilities Council) as a graduate intern to implement a business to business XR system for rapid prototyping. However my duties also extended to consulting on various projects and attending events.

I have also worked with the Department of Workplace and Pensions creating a prototype system for universal Credit when I participated in Hack the North 4.0, which used digital twinning to find a solution to help people on universal manage their finances more efficiently.

In April 2020 I joined Liverpool John Moore’s university to work on my most challenging project to date which was to create an app that was called “Smart Green Journey” for cyclists and walkers to be able commute for work and leisure, however the app will also include sensors set up around the city which will send real time data about weather, air quality and traffic so users can create a more efficient journey based on the data gathered from the sensors.

At the start of June i started working on a revolutionary project for Imagin3D who are an award winning enterprise who have made astonishing solutions for clients such as STFC and Aberdeen University.

The art to unwinding

When I get time to rest and im not tinkering around trying to costantly learn new skills you can find me going on hikes through the countryside, taking part in sports from running to crossfit to cycling. I love watching football and socialising with friends and family.
